Bill of Quantity and Project Cost Estimation
The bill of quantity or the total requirements of the
projects in terms of activities, and each activity is
then broken down into bill of materials of material,
labour and equipment. Hence project cost can be estimated
as per standard cost.
Project Cost Monitoring and Reconciliation
One of the most difficult aspects of cost is the ability
to be able to reconcile costs for material, labour and
equipment. With Matrix ERP this becomes possible to
eliminate the variance in terms of quantity variance
and value variance as well.
Running Bill of Sub Contractors and Progress
Monitoring
Most of the work is done by sub contracting the work
in which the total bill of quantity is broken down into
smaller work orders. Then work progress is evaluated
on the basis of the submission of the civil contractors
work done reports. These automatically update progress
as well as contractors work details.
Material Requirement Planning
It is possible to generate a Material Requirement Plan
for the Procurement Department automatically from the
system on the basis of the work projection of a particular
month / week. This enables them to procure economically
and finance to do proper budgeting.
Equipment Management
• Maintenance of Log Book Activity wise as
per Bill of Quantity
